We are incredibly honored and humbled to announce that Copper Rose Zambia (CRZ) has been awarded the prestigious CEO Youth Impact Award 2025 at the Women in Business Celebration Brunch hosted by Absa Bank Zambia PLC. This recognition, received by our Deputy CEO, Faith Kaoma Kabeleka, this past weekend, is a momentous occasion for our organization as we celebrate our 10th anniversary of dedicated service to the youth and women of Zambia.

The award was presented to our Deputy CEO, Faith Kaoma Kabeleka, by Her Honour, the Vice President of the Republic of Zambia, Mrs. W.K. Mutale Nalumango, MP in the presence of the Minister of Justice, Hon. Princess Kasune MP, the Board Chairman of ABSA Bank Zambia., Dr. Austin Mwape, and the CEO, Mizinga Melu.

“This award is significant to us, extending far beyond the honor of recognition. It arrives at a truly symbolic time as we reflect on a decade of unwavering commitment to advancing adolescent and women’s health and wellbeing, championing gender equity, and fostering youth development and leadership across 9 provinces in Zambia,” Said Faith Kaoma Kabeleka, the deputy CEO.

For the past ten years, CRZ has been dedicated to addressing critical gaps in adolescent sexual and reproductive health, and this award serves as a powerful affirmation that our story truly matters. It acknowledges the collective hard work, passion, and dedication of our team, partners, and the young people we serve. Over the past decade, our impact has been significant:

• Our social and behavioral change campaigns have reached over 196,647 young people, demonstrating the transformative power of youth-led initiatives.
• We have trained 1,029 Healthcare providers, empowering local leaders to drive change within their communities.
• We have contributed to developing 27 national strategies, shaping policies that positively impact the lives of young people.
• We have 39,146 Condoms distributed.
• We have reached 46,966 beneficiaries with HIV Testing services and learnt their status.

Receiving the CEO Youth Impact Award is not just a celebration of our past achievements but also a powerful motivator for the future. It strengthens our commitment to continue our mission with even greater passion and determination. We are immensely grateful to Absa Bank Zambia PLC for this incredible honor and for recognizing the vital role of youth impact in community development.
