Early in October, Copper Rose Zambia (CRZ) announced a strategic partnership with Yango to enhance safety and professionalism among Yango partner-drivers. The partnership kicked off with CRZ successfully training 50 initial drivers in a pilot program. Building on the success of this foundation, CRZ and Yango will further collaborate to develop a standardized safety course that will benefit up to 3,500 Yango partner-drivers across Zambia. This commitment ensures that the program’s values and lessons will scale to create sector-wide change. The Yango Partner-Driver Safety and Respectful Conduct training was conducted in collaboration with CRZ, Yango, the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC), and the Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA). Speaking at the event, CRZ Vice Board Chairperson Kamuchizya Mutambo emphasized the initiative’s importance: “Together, we will empower drivers to provide safe, comfortable, and respectful service, making every ride a better experience.” Yango Country Head Kabanda Chewe highlighted the comprehensive nature of the
