Copper Rose Zambia Logo Competition: A Success Fueled by Youth Creativity

We received over 100 logos submitted in our logo competition, and the overwhelming response from 2,500 online voters has truly touched our hearts. This incredible engagement underscores the vibrant creativity and passion of Zambia’s youth, affirming the spirit in which this initiative was conceived.

Earlier, Copper Rose Zambia (CRZ), a leading organisation dedicated to empowering young people, proudly announced an exciting logo design competition to commemorate our 10th anniversary.

This competition was more than just a search for a new emblem; it was an invitation to young individuals to design a unique and impactful logo that represents CRZ’s enduring mission and celebrates its decade of unwavering service. It was a golden chance for young people to not only showcase their artistic talents but also become an integral part of CRZ’s significant milestone celebration.

“The CRZ Logo Competition is not just a competition; it’s a life-changing opportunity. We aim to empower young people to get involved in our work and provide them with a genuine chance to make a positive contribution.

We believe in the creativity and potential of the youth, and this competition is proof of that belief,” passionately stated Dr. Natasha Salifyanji Kaoma, CEO of CRZ, when the competition was launched. To underscore this commitment to youth empowerment, the winner of the logo design competition was set to receive a grand prize of $500 and a valuable 3-month internship within CRZ’s dynamic communications department. This internship, designed to provide hands-on experience, aims to develop the winner’s skills further and foster engagement with fellow passionate individuals working towards the organisation’s goals.

The enthusiastic participation, culminating in over 100 diverse submissions and active voting from 2,500 members of our online community, has been truly inspiring. It highlights the connection young people feel to CRZ’s mission and their eagerness to contribute to meaningful change. As we move forward, we celebrate not just the winning designs but the collective spirit of creativity and engagement that made this anniversary competition a resounding success.
