Overview

The Absa ReadytoWork project offers a comprehensive online learning curriculum designed to facilitate young people’s transition from education to the professional world and entrepreneurship. The platform provides a digital learning experience comprising four strategic modules:

  1. Work Skills: Enhancing employability through training in CV writing, interview preparation, and workplace readiness.
  2. People Skills: Focusing on effective communication, teamwork, and relationship management.
  3. Money Skills: Teaching financial management, budgeting, and responsible financial decision-making.
  4. Entrepreneurial Skills: Guiding aspiring entrepreneurs on starting and managing successful businesses, including crafting business proposals and effectively pitching ideas.

These modules are designed to equip young individuals with the essential skills needed to navigate the job market or embark on entrepreneurial ventures successfully.

Objective

Reach 10,000 Zambian youth with the ReadytoWork platform to strengthen their transformation from students to workers. 

Impact

  • Introducing the ReadytoWork platform to students across Lusaka and Copperbelt educational institutions.
  • Reach students across Zambia through the digital promotion of the ReadytoWork platform.
